MACH was commissioned for the third time to design a trade fair stand for the brand TOTO. The stand presented the Japanese company at the ISH 2013 in Francfurt. To optimally present the products on a 1300 m area, MACH designed four cubic structures that framed a semi-transparent pavilion in the center. The arrangement of the elements created pathways reminiscent of urban infrastructures. In addition, small gardens were distributed across the stand so that visitors could stroll through the exhibition space in a relaxed manner. At the same time, window cut-outs granted various views in and out, lending additional transparency to the individual zones. The façade of the central pavilion was decorated with a traditional Japanese water motif. This is where TOTO presented its latest products as well as its special approach to the topic of water.
